I'm a regular at Strathpeffer Art Fair where many people have chosen to buy my work. During the summer I had a very successful first solo show in Inverness Botanics with a second next spring. I'm most comfortable out of doors were my paintings begin to take shape. Some are finished en plien air whilst others are developed in the studio.  I seek out the unsung scenes, glimpsed views and hidden gems from back roads of the Black Isle and Inverness-shire. My work is textural and atmospheric. I am more interested in capturing character than true representation, using mixed media, adding and removing paint, collage, pastel, inks, pigments with anything that makes a mark.
