My unique experience of these elements - thoughts, feelings, emotions, sensory responses - drives me to make my art. I explore and filter these elements, translating how I experience the world into a new language. I begin intuitively or with a loose theme, building up and responding to layers of paint, collage, texture, mark-making, patterns, shapes and lines.
