Artist bio: Paula Deas is an artist from the east coast of Scotland, based in Carnoustie. Her work is heavily inspired by the sea and the movement of water. Working primarily with oils on canvas, Paula explores varying textures and markings through the use of palette knives and paint brushes and textured mediums. Drawn to deep tones she creates moody, atmospheric landscapes and seascapes capturing the wildness of natures elements. Paula currently exhibits in galleries across Scotland.
